Creativity is getting its unhindered and uncountable social media platforms now a days. Someone having a talent can showcase it and reach upto the hearts of millions within a short span of time. Hatss off to the technology which brought this revolution and toppled all those existed monopolies in creativity. Whether it connects or disconnects the people is another debatable topic but doubtlessly we can say that the social media have huge impact on our society. For some people its just a virtual world and for someothers its a virtual reality. It all depends on the one who approach these sites or apps as these are itself a liberal stage having adaptive to whichever definitions one put on to it.

So,, jump up to the questions one by one in recent trends of  TIKTOK ROASTING...

WHTHER TIKTOK VEDIOS ARE CREATIVE OR NOT....?

Ofcourse it is... vedios which are not merely factual but adds up a component of creativity merits its tag. But there is yet another question comes from the same spot. One can argue that more or less vedios became viral in tiktok are using songs, plots, and narratives from another creator.Is it legally valid?? Secondly the app itself is designed in such a way that a particular content in a vedio can be subjected to further imitations and improvisations so that tiktok by itself can be considered as a greatest simulator or the best promoter of plagiarisms. To draw up a conclusion, we can seek the "fair use policy " under the copyright laws in united states by which one can use a material created by a person in its fair manner.

WHAT ABOUT REACTION VEDIOS AND ITS VALIDITY...??

Reaction vedios are nothing but a sort of tricky plagiarism such that it uses the creativity of a person and exploits its audience-base to reach further more publicity.

In so many reaction- vedios, we can see the number of viewers more than the original vedio. For sure, there are few checks and balances to prohibit such practices by restricting the length of original vedios in a considerable time-limits and, all the creators can have a legal remedies as well..

One of the prominent case related to this issue is the judgment given by US court in 2016, in Matt hosseinzabech vrs ethan and  Hila clein. In this judgment, the court insisted on the "fair use policy" and opined that the reviews and criticism are also comes under the ambit of fair use policy. The court goes on to say that since a particular reacting vedio cannot be considered as a substitute for the original one, it cannot be considered as a Copyright infridgment. But we cannot say this ruling is an ultimate yardstick of this issue. Unlike US other Democratic wings like EU never accepts such vedios when it matches with legal parameters..

IS IT A SOCIAL ISSUE??

Yes.. Reactions of reactions within a reaction piled up in social media recently and it initiated a fan-fight amongst the kerala youth. One step ahead, this issue is also triggered a potential social stigma between so called upper class and lower class of the society.. Its argued that Tiktok is deemed to be the limelight for "so called lower classes" as they can be creatively involved in portraiting themselves coherent with any celebrities. Its having huge acceptance as well. So many people reacted to this "roasting" as a tool to interfer into the stage of those who are marginalised from the creative sphere. Roasting is also considered as an act of defamation.

Ofcourse, all these arguments are one way kr the other way truth but these are not valid as the TIKTOK ,just like other social media platforms, is not at all descriminatory in its design.

Any creative content must have authorship rights morally and solely be entitled as an intellectual property of the creator. But apps like TIKTOK itslef stands against the claims of copyrights policies. So, defamations and anything derogatory that insults the dignity of an individual should be curbed and at the same time, fair criticism and reviews should also be allowed. Its the wisdom of the youth to handle this issue in a better matured sense of liberalism without inviting the judicial interventions....
